One major difference that Google Drive offers is an easy (just right click) means of changing the colours of the folders in your drive.

In terms of the physical classroom, I often used colour to organize things. Different coloured binders held thematically different content. Student groups were represented by different colours… Over many years I used colour in many different ways to organize. Several years ago, I tried to change the colours of my folders in my computer at mirror my physical classroom. The task was so involved I never did accomplish it (though I do recall my brother – an engineer – accomplishing it on his PC).

In Google Drive, simply right click on any folder and select a new colour for any folder. How you organize it is as unique as everything about the way you teach and how you organize your classroom.
